Katydid Beach Bungalow by Avantstay Gulf Views New Construction in Seagrove

The Villas At Seagrove Beach are a lovely place to stay, with a beautiful view and plenty of room. I love this area, and it's convenient for getting around 30A.

We had a lovely week in a spacious, comfortable condo right beside the pool. The decor had an elegant coastal feel, and we made lots of good memories at the Villas at Seagrove Beach. The main issue was internet. We only had it for two days, though we were there for a week. My mother and brother had planned to work from the condo, but couldn't. We called several times, and people came out three times without seeming to fix anything. I realize the management company wasn't necessarily responsible for the problem, but I wish they'd treated it with more urgency. Our phones also struggled with calls, texts, and browsing, and the little kids couldn't watch movies at the end of the day, which was frustrating. There was just one key fob for our three family groups to use for beach access, which was inconvenient, though we managed. Without the internet and fob problems, I'd have given the stay five stars.

The place is clean and spacious, and the location on 30A is great. But at the high price, we didn't find it worth coming back to. The walls are so thin that we heard kids screaming at 6 a.m. and running through the halls. People wandered around with beers and smoked from balconies. The appliances and the entry and exit gates felt outdated. We were also made to check out ten minutes early, and the tiny pool had people making out and doing other things despite children being around. I wish there were more good things to list. Next time we'd rather rent a single-family house than deal with other guests' thoughtless behavior.

We had a great bachelorette trip here, and the place had everything we needed. The beach views were gorgeous. It's across the street from the beach, so hauling our things each day was a hassle, but manageable and worth the price.
