The Lodge 30A

We haven’t spent much time on 30A since the Pandemic, and the thrill had worn off. The water is still the best anywhere, but the crowds and beach access issues have become too much. We came for an outstanding young relative’s sixth birthday on November 16, 2025, and decided to stay a couple of days to see how things were. We found The Lodge 30A online and liked the room prices. Check-in made things even better: Emily greeted us so warmly and cheerfully, went out of her way to make us feel like special guests, and gave us great advice about restaurants and businesses at Greenway Station 30A and in the surrounding area. She always said hello during our stay and checked that the room was just right. The room was nicely outfitted with a small kitchenette, full-sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee service, china, cutlery, and dishwasher. The furnishings and decor were very nice, too. My only complaint was that the stick-built building let some sound and movement from floors above come through. Parking was easy, and it was nice to have two coffee shops and breakfast restaurants in Greenway Station 30A. For a one-night visit, The Canopy Road Café was much better for both food and service, with better quality and selection. The Local Cantina Greenway Station stayed open late and had very friendly staff. Wild Olive and the Ice Cream shop were closed, apparently on shorter winter hours. I’d give The Lodge 30A an unqualified recommendation. It’s good value, has excellent facilities, and sits conveniently on 30A between Seaside and Rosemary. And Emily makes it a winning combination.

We live in Greenway Park next door and have had family stay at The Lodge several times when there wasn’t room for everyone in our home. They’ve all enjoyed it, and we’ve stayed there ourselves when our home was rented out. You can’t beat the value: a fair price for lovely accommodations. The lodge has been a great addition to the neighborhood.

We’ve stayed here before and plan to come back. The room was clean, everything worked, and it had a small kitchenette. Our group of four had two queen beds, and the room was just what we expected for the price. The grounds were nice and clean, and the staff were kind and professional.

The Lodge 30A has become my home away from home while I make frequent, extended trips to the area during our remodel in Seacrest Beach. Evelyn Whalen, the General Manager, has been very helpful whenever I need to arrange a reservation. She’s often on site, greeting guests with a smile and helping at the front desk, and the staff are always available, kind, and ready to answer questions. I especially appreciate the kitchenette for longer stays, and the comfortable mattress and pillows make it easy to sleep well. The rooms are clean and spacious, with what you need for a comfortable visit. There’s also a mini market with a good selection, a lobby workstation guests can use, an exercise facility, and an outdoor pool. Restaurants and shops are right outside, which makes it easy to enjoy the local area. The decor is beautiful and the hotel feels relaxing. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and professional. I’m very happy staying here and highly recommend The Lodge 30A.
