Topsail Village #511 - 30A Family Tides

I had to move, but I really miss my condo, the workers, my neighbors, and the location. My corner unit backed onto the forest, and the nature was fantastic. There was a pool, a nice treeline, a grassy field in front, and lots of critters and birds. The parks, beach, and restaurants were a short bike ride away. Topsail hill state park beach was always peaceful, with light crowds. I had no problem with the small dogs in the community. I think large dogs are kept out. The office gets things done, and the property was always well maintained and clean. Sometimes a bear would walk around. I used to live at Topsail Village, and my unit was the best one. The property has ownership units, a motel, and a hotel. There’s also a large wedding hall where events were always fun to watch. It would be nice if they had a farmers market or something on the lawn :) Try Don Pedros and chef 30a deli for good local food.

We’ve moved out of Topsail Village, and already miss living the 30A Life! It’s quiet, with several other young professionals in our building, and management didn’t put up with noise or tenants disturbing others. They were quick with repairs too. Our heater was fixed within 24 hours of us noticing the problem, and Lowes installers replaced our dishwasher within three days of the old one breaking. Management also gave us some great references when we were looking for a dog. Our unit was beautiful when we moved in, with colored accents, granite countertops, and new carpet. We loved the pool. I think they cleaned it every day, because in 18 months of living there I never saw a single leaf in it. It’s a great place for quiet, peaceful living along 30A, close to Destin and all the scenic spots along the road.

Alice and Carol Pauls manage the properties, and they’re great. When a dishwasher replacement caused a couple of leaks under our sink, they responded right away. My family has been living here for a year and we love it. It’s an awesome place to rent or own, with beautiful surroundings, great managers, and hundreds of shops and restaurants along 30a. Stalworth beach is a 15-minute walk, and the bike trail is perfect for walking.

I’m looking forward to living here. I came down in May and again last Sunday to look at buying a condo, and I love how clean and beautiful everything is. The gorgeous landscaping keeps it from feeling like a crammed parking lot, which is why I turned down a townhome in another complex. I stayed overnight in the 30A suites section and found the managers helpful and very responsive. As a future owner, I appreciate the effort to keep the place as I experienced it. My HOA dues will be money well spent. Kathleen
