Tru By Hilton Santa Rosa Beach

This is another Hilton GEM. The rooms are small and bare bones standard, but perfectly clean, with professional service and everything you need for a great price. There’s no need for a fancy hotel when this one delivers at such a good price. I’m writing this so I remember to stay here again and recommend it to my friends, family, and followers. It’s what you’d expect from the HILTON name brand!

For the best price, this is the newest and cleanest hotel. Every staff member is phenomenal, welcoming, attentive, and efficient. They take representing the Hilton brand seriously. Madena and May at the front reception were especially kind and accommodating.

We had a lovely breakfast, and I especially recommend trying the pork sausage. I also appreciated having coffee available in the lobby 24 hours a day. The pool is cute and a decent size, nice for a relaxing dip. We only stayed one night after booking quickly before heading to another hotel. We checked in on October 12th, and Mae welcomed us warmly. Her accommodating nature and positive energy made us feel right at home. Medina was also kind and helpful when I asked to extend checkout. She took initiative and had a great attitude. Jeff, the General Manager, was hands-on and always kind, attentive, and helpful with every detail whenever we saw him. My husband and I were impressed with this newly opened branch and had a wonderful experience. We’ve already booked again for October 15th, for the daytime only since we’ll leave that night. We’re looking forward to returning.

The rooms were tiny, with nowhere to put clothes and no microwave. Our water pressure was awful the whole three nights, and after we told the front desk the morning after arriving at 2 a.m. because of delayed flights, we got the runaround. Housekeeping never showed up despite several requests, so we had to find clean towels ourselves. Staff kept making promises but nobody seemed able to help. We won't stay here again.
