Housekeeping did a great job each day, and we had a comfortable bed plus a kitchen stocked with what we needed to cook. The rooms are spacious, with a separate bedroom and living room, full kitchen, and washer and dryer. Getting to the beach club takes under five minutes by bike, where you can use the pool and beach access, since the hotel isn't beachfront. I'd have liked more amenities at the hotel itself, such as a bar or restaurant, rather than having to go to the club. There are also several different codes to keep track of for the room, bike locks, and community gate. At $600 a night, it felt a little overpriced for somewhere off the beach. Still, we had a great stay, the staff were great, and I'd come back.

The staff made a real impression on us. They took time for friendly conversation, recommended a great dinner spot, and handled every request promptly and with a smile. It was clear they cared about their work. Our check-in was seamless, and the amenities, including the refreshing pool and well-equipped fitness center, added to the stay. The Watersound Inn rooms were spotless and thoughtfully decorated, with comfortable bedding and a peaceful feel. We had a wonderful time and are already looking forward to coming back. The accommodations and service were both extraordinary, and we highly recommend this hidden gem.

We celebrated our 25th anniversary at Watersound Inn, and the attention to detail and customer service were impeccable. This was our fourth stay, and we keep returning because we love how relaxing it is. The spacious, well-maintained rooms have everything you need. There are plenty of delicious, reasonably priced options at the Beach Club, and you hardly need to leave the property. Free bikes are there if you want to ride around. Such a perfect vacation, with all the little details taken care of.

WaterSound Beaches used to feel different, and the HOA and security have changed over the last two years. Security says guests renting a house can't park on the provided parking pads, which leaves me wondering what those pads are for if not public parking within the community. With two cars, they cited one and then cited the other, treating it as a fine even though each car had only one warning. HOA and Security, telling guests to fit every car on the property regardless of how many cars are allowed under the reservation is terrible. This community doesn't have so many cars that it should be treated like a parking lot, and there's no need to fine or boot renters' vehicles.
