Whispering Palms

There are two relaxing porches, two good beach chairs, and beach toys. The neighborhood is peaceful, quiet, and respectful, with parking for two cars. The community is clean and spacious, and the beach entrance is an easy, short walk. Pool access is easy too. The beds were very uncomfortable. The downstairs mattress felt deflated, and the upstairs beds made a lot of noise. Check-in and checkout times were awful. Supplies are limited: they provide some toilet paper, paper towels, and dish detergent, but no laundry detergent or soap. There are no beach towels, spices, or cooking oil. The rain showerheads are just okay and can be difficult for women when it's not hair-washing day, while the downstairs shower has very weak pressure. The heat and AC kept tripping the downstairs circuit breaker. Furniture in the downstairs bedroom is much too large for the room. The positives earned it four stars, though my gut says three or 3.5.
