Art House Hotel and Suites

Marilyn at the front desk is a big part of why I keep coming back to Art House. She arranged a late checkout at 1 p.m. and even cut and set up a bouquet of flowers in my room. I've stayed twice now, and both visits have felt first class. She went out of her way to make them memorable. I can't recommend the place enough, and I'll stay here whenever I'm in Santa Rosa.

I ended up at La Rose, where they helped me out. I hadn't stayed at Art House or the Flamingo because I got there around 11 a.m. and neither would check me in before 4. My son had been flown to the hospital, and after driving an hour and a half to meet him in the ER, I needed a room once he was safe and asleep. With a bad knee and a disability that makes walking really hard, I tried Art House first because I liked the name.

The front desk team made my trial week much easier. They were friendly, flexible, and helpful, even receiving packages of binders and other trial materials for me. One woman also printed some documents I needed at no charge. Parking was convenient too, with just a few steps from my space to the elevator and room, so I didn't have to haul things a long way. I was in a suite, and it was bright and roomy, with a good sized desk and an adjustable, comfortable chair. That's something I often miss at hotels lately, and it worked well while I was in town for work. I'd happily choose Art House Hotel again if I return to Santa Rosa. My previous stay at the Hyatt Regency was much less convenient and friendly.

That room had a ridiculous amount of space, maybe my favorite hotel room I've had. It was clean and had a cute little balcony. I also liked the breakfast choices and how close it is to a nice little street with shops and restaurants. I'd definitely come back.
