Brook Trout Inn

I haven't been sleeping much lately because of a knee injury, but somehow I slept like a baby here. Our room was spotless, and the whole stay felt so warm and welcoming. Julie was phenomenal. She and her husband made my wife and me feel like old friends who belonged there. The place is beautiful, and the peaceful atmosphere is just as lovely. The woman who covered when Julie was away was every bit as kind and comforting. I can't remember her name, but I think she and her husband own an ice-cream shop in Cashiers. This won't be our last visit to the brook trout inn. We'll keep coming back as long as Julie owns it. If you're after some beauty and quiet, don't hesitate to stop in.

Really cute place, and late check-in was easy. Trails and good upscale dining are under a 10-minute drive away. The photos don't do it justice. Say yes to this one.

I've been traveling here for business since mid summer '25 and have made Brook Trout Inn my regular spot. The rooms are consistently clean and comfortable, and the practical setup includes 24-hour access to a shared kitchen and common area, with plenty of places to sit indoors and outside, plus a fireplace. Julie and her accommodating staff are what keep me coming back. So far my trips have all been for work, but I'm looking forward to bringing my family for a leisure stay once we get through the holidays.

After a long day hiking at Gorges State Park, we really enjoyed the king suite at Brook Trout Inn. The room was immaculate, the bed comfortable, and breakfast the next morning was a treat. The owners are engaged and make sure guests are happy, and the staff are helpful too. We hope to return. A big thank you to Brook Trout Inn for the excellent service.
