The rooms felt dated, and you could hear neighbors arguing through the walls. For $85 a night for one bed, I didn’t think it was worth it, especially when abvi and Super 8 have cheaper rates. The room didn’t have amenities that justified the price, not even a hair dryer. The maintenance man looked like a homeless person. I’d keep driving.

I only stayed one night during a cross-country trip, and it turned into one of my favorite hotel stays. It’s just a basic little motel, nothing fancy, but I liked the vibe. There was a great thunderstorm while I was there, too.

The rooms were acceptable for the price, and luckily we didn’t encounter any bedbugs. The front desk service was indifferent, though, and the overall atmosphere wasn’t great. There was also a cracked bathroom mirror in our room. What really concerned us was an incident around 12:30 a.m. on November 30. My girlfriend and I were walking toward our room when a red van sped the wrong way through the parking lot, nearly hitting another vehicle before stopping abruptly near room 142. A man got out looking disoriented and went into room 142. The van came toward us recklessly, and we weren’t sure the driver had seen us. The parking lot also smelled strongly of marijuana. Given all that, I’d advise people traveling with loved ones to look for somewhere else.

Everything was great during my two-day stay. I’ll come back.
