For a weekend in May, it was busy but never felt packed, and the Tiki bar was great. The grounds, beach, and room were very clean. Staff were attentive and nice, shower pressure was good, and self-parking was free. There’s also a free shuttle to St Armand’s Circle, an upscale outdoor mall with shops, bars, and restaurants about a mile away. A tip for the shuttle driver is worth considering. Our party of four found the Tiki Towers room cramped and basic, even though it was listed for five. The four-floor building had one slow, noisy elevator, so we mostly took the stairs. There are two basic pools, one for adults only. Food and drink cost what you’d expect, but the room rate felt far too high for what the resort offers, despite the convenient Gulf location. I enjoyed the visit, but won’t return. Three stars.

The beach was spotless and well groomed, with staff ready to bring out chairs, tables, and umbrellas. Umbrellas cost an extra $15 a day, and wait staff came by to take food and drink orders. It’s the kind of place where you can really be pampered. The rooms were spacious and immaculate, and every staff member went out of their way to get what I asked for. Probably the best resort hotel I’ve ever stayed at. It was that awesome!

We came in summer for a couple of nights, and the pool was lovely, with lots of kids having a great time. The hotel restaurant had a spectacular view. My wife and I had a wonderful stay, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and comfortable.

The service was excellent, with everyone warm, friendly, and welcoming. There are plenty of places to gather, whether you’re after somewhere intimate or space for a large party, plus two pools and a private beach. The Tiki bar and restaurant serve excellent meals with a good variety. You really don’t have to leave the resort for a great getaway. There’s also a free shuttle from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. to Aromond circle, where you’ll find shops, restaurants, and bars.

I didn’t use the resort, but the beach by Lido Beach was gorgeous, in my opinion Sarasota’s best apart from Anna Maria. We rented an umbrella and chairs for $50 a set and could use them until 5 p.m. The sand was soft, there were no rocks, and the water was somewhat clear. There’s also a café at the resort that’s open to the public, handy for a meal or quick bite while at the beach.
