Gary and Jonathan were so kind when I arrived in a bind and realized I'd booked the wrong dates. Gary helped sort it out and found me a gorgeous room, and I was very grateful. This was an unplanned stop in Saugatuck after part of my travel plans changed, and what a lovely surprise. The place was cozy and beautiful, right off downtown's main street, yet it felt secluded and private. I could step outside and walk to so many fun things. I also loved the little baskets of delicious muffins, fruit, and yogurt. I definitely want to come back!

We first stayed in the San Juan suite, then came back for another visit in the Tuscany Cottage. Both had thoughtful details that made it feel like a little trip to Puerto Rico or Italy, and the rooms and cottages are beautiful and well equipped for a romantic getaway. Each afternoon brought homemade treats, and breakfast meant the best fresh muffins and fruit. Every detail seems to have been considered. Looking forward to returning in the quieter season.

For our baby moon in Saugatuck, this was such a lovely place to stay. We could easily walk wherever we wanted to go, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. The homemade breakfasts and treats were a favorite too. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed the daily food baskets, and Jonathan was a great host who promptly fixed our ceiling fan. Our Tuscany suite had an outdoor patio overlooking the garden, and the downtown location was ideal. Still, we couldn't use the parking spaces beside the B&B because they were always occupied, so we parked a block and a half away. The air conditioning compressors ran constantly, which got annoying. And be prepared for an early start: the skylight lets in enough light to wake you at 5:30 in the morning.

Fresh muffins, fruit, and yogurt made breakfast a perfect start, and there was a little treat each afternoon. Jonathan and Gary really look after your comfort. We stayed in the Orleans cottage and loved the private porch facing the garden. Hidden Garden Cottages is a gem. This was our second visit, and I expect we'll be back again.
