Staying right by the water in the Durant Cottage was exactly the peaceful, restful break we needed. The views from the bedroom, family room, and screened-in porch were stunning, and we loved spending time by the electric firepit just outside. The grounds were beautifully landscaped, and the staff were warm and welcoming. The cottage was incredibly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable weekend. The cozy bathrobes, heated floors throughout, and rain shower were lovely. Breakfast was included, which was convenient. Downtown Saugatuck’s shops, galleries, and restaurants were within walking distance, with beautiful water views all around. Douglas and other nearby activities and attractions were only a short drive away. Old Pike Cottages exceeded our expectations. We can’t wait to return.

We had the whole place to ourselves over Valentine’s weekend, which made for a quiet stay. It isn’t the busiest time of year in Saugatuck, and the cottages were very clean and functional, just right for relaxing. Downtown, with its restaurants and shops, was only about a five-minute walk away. My husband and I had a lovely time and would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

We’ll definitely be back. The cottages have beautiful views, and they’re renovated, clean, and conveniently located near downtown Saugatuck. There’s a common room with coffee and a light breakfast treat, plus heated pool and hot tub that were relaxing. We also enjoyed having gas fire pits to use. Both families stayed at Old Pike Cottages for the weekend of my son and daughter-in-law’s wedding in Saugatuck. It was the best experience, and the cottages themselves are absolutely beautiful.

Birdie and her team do a fantastic job at Old Pike Cottages. We’ve found it to be a great place for our clients and affiliates, with a fun atmosphere, comfortable accommodations, plenty of amenities, and an extremely convenient location near town. Definitely recommend OPC for a great stay.
