Chisholms Motor Inn

The clean room was the only part of this stay that earned a star. Everything else was bad, and I regret booking through Booking.com. The busy highway stayed loud all night, the hard bed left my girlfriend and me with really bad back pain, and the pillows were thin and cheap. The towels were clean but had yellow stains and discoloration. They should be thrown out, or washed with better detergent. Even the shower gel and shampoo had already been opened and apparently hadn’t been replaced after the previous guest used them. It was no peaceful night’s sleep, so bring earplugs. I’d never stay here again. Booking.com really played me with this room.

Want a broken shower, no lamps, and a bed that isn’t comfortable? This place has all that. I asked for five pillows in my king suite, but got the standard four. It’s the worst. Stay anywhere else.

My husband and I came to visit Salem, and the location worked out great. The place was very clean, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. We’d stay here again. Thank you!

They advertise accessible rooms and let you pay for an overnight stay, but the room I paid for wasn’t set up for someone with physical disabilities or a wheelchair to get around and use the space comfortably. There’s no ramp access. The description of the services is misleading.
