I enjoyed walking the well-marked, well-kept trails. The park and office are nice, and the staff were helpful. I can't give it five stars, though, because there was no water and no falls at all. I knew not to expect much at this time of year, but there was nothing.

We stopped while driving through to see one of the falls. The trails were nice, and the scenery was beautiful even with very little water this time of year.

Cabin #5 was comfortable and had everything we needed. We also had access to the resort amenities, including the small pool and hot tub, trails, waterfall hikes, and fitness room. There’s a restaurant and golf course, plus a summer splash pad, tennis courts, and playgrounds. We didn’t get around to exploring the whole resort, but enjoyed our stay. Getting to other restaurants, waterfalls, and places took a bit of a drive, at least 30 minutes.

I’ve been to Twin Falls hundreds of times over the years, for family reunions, memorials, picnics, and even weddings. It’s a beautiful spot, with clean restrooms, several playgrounds, and picnic shelters for different kinds of gatherings. There are plenty of trails, and activities throughout the year add to what the State Park has to offer.

I hadn’t been back to Twin Falls in a while, and some things had changed, though most of it felt familiar. It’s still a beautiful, well-kept park and a wonderful place for families. My grandparents brought me for picnics around the Fourth of July when I was little. Now that I live in Alabama and have kids, they love picnicking with their grandparents when we visit. This year my parents joined us there for our family picnic, and I’m glad we’re carrying on the tradition.
