The mountain-top setting made our stay so enjoyable, and the place was spotless. I was proud to leave it as clean as we found it. Liz was wonderful, and I really appreciated all her hard work and creativity. You can see how much she’s accomplished, and I think her future will be even bigger. Thanks for everything, Liz. I hope to visit again soon.
Liz and the Hearthstone family made us feel like we belonged there. She was so helpful and quick to respond before and during our stay, and they made sure we had what we needed. Our family of four and our labrador Hank loved Mountain Laurel Cottage. It had everything we needed and a quaint feel, and one of our favorite evenings was grilling and spending time by our own firepit. We wanted a quiet cabin near Helen for spring break, and this was just right. I’d highly recommend Mountain Laurel Cottage.
Hearthstone was just the quiet getaway we wanted. Mountain Laurel Cottage sits on a peaceful back road, close to downtown Helen, where we rode our ebikes, and conveniently placed for all the hikes we did. Liz went out of her way to make sure everything about our stay was great. We enjoyed it so much!
The campground is peaceful and very clean, set on a ridge just outside Helen GA. Liz and Gloria, the owners, were the best hostesses we’ve had in a long time. They’d check in each evening to see if we needed anything, while still giving us space. We had a great experience.
Liz made us feel welcome and part of the mountain family, and she really went above and beyond. Mountain Laurel Cottage was easily our best stay in Helen, much better than a hotel room. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back soon. Thanks, Liz!
