Cambria Hotel Savannah Downtown Historic District

We were nearly out the door because the small menu had nothing I could eat, and it was already late morning. I needed vegan breakfast, and although I usually find oatmeal at hotels, theirs had milk cooked into it. My server, Engelburt, kindly offered to make a fresh batch plain. He was friendly and attentive throughout, and saved us the trouble of hunting down another restaurant.

It’s pleasantly quiet here since the hotel sits outside the busiest tourist area, though everything is still walkable. The trolley stop is just around the corner and made for a great tour. We parked across the street for $20 for two days. The hotel, room, and bathroom were clean, and everyone was friendly and helpful. Ricky Ricardo was especially helpful. No problems, and we had a great time.

The hotel doesn’t have its own parking, but there’s a garage right next door with security around the clock, which felt a little safer. It’s also a great base for getting around Savannah. Our room was clean, and the linens were comfortable.

From the front desk to the bar, the staff had great personalities and the service was great. Alana was wonderful and gave us lots of sightseeing suggestions. Be sure to try one of her famous Margaritas. The valet team deserves a shout-out too.
