Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Savannah Midtown

The bed was comfortable, but the metal plate around its base banged loudly when we bumped it, which happened several times. Not sure why it was there. We could hear the noisy neighbors all evening because there’s very little soundproofing, and the room temperature was difficult to control. I need an accessible bathroom, but the shower didn’t work for me. There’s a wide, fairly high step to get in, and the grab bars are poorly placed.

Roaches were in the room, and the pictures we took came from three different rooms. The sheets were filthy. We were moved, but the next room was dirty too. After trying three rooms and finding them all dirty, we asked for a refund and left.

We went down at 9:00 for breakfast, which runs from 7 to 10, and there weren’t enough eggs left for my wife and me. The lobby was closed at 6:30 pm, too. This was by far the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. Never coming back.

The staff were polite and friendly, and customer service was the one bright spot. But the hotel smelled old and musty, and the room was dirty, with an improperly cleaned floor and grime in the bathroom corners. The walls were stained, the air conditioner was extremely loud, and the place felt neglected. Thin walls meant I could hear everything from next door, including the TV at full volume, and I couldn’t sleep. Breakfast had very few options and was poor. They need to do a lot better with cleaning and noise. I wouldn’t recommend staying here as things are now.
