After our second stay, I can say it was just as lovely as the first. Beth fit us in warmly at the last minute, and Pam and Anne made everything go smoothly. The young woman on the afternoon shift was professional and friendly, too. The whole team makes it feel like a home away from home. This will be our B&B in Savannah when we return for regular family care. The room is comfortable, private, clean, and well equipped, with a great bed, shower, WiFi, and amenities. The staff's thoughtful little touches and conversations made us feel at home from check-in through checkout. The block is peaceful and close to the main sights. It felt safe for all travelers, including women traveling alone, while of course normal city precautions still make sense in Savannah. This is an exceptional B&B. Thanks to Beth, Pam, Anne, and everyone for the care and hard work.

The Godley family has done a wonderful job restoring Godley Manor. The house is full of character, and the shared main floor is spacious, with a lovely porch for relaxing. We especially liked that the first-floor rooms have their own entrances. A light breakfast is offered each morning, which was a nice touch. It's just a short walk to most of the historic district. Choosing the manor over a hotel made our whole trip feel more personal and special, and I'm glad they had availability when we visited. Beth was incredibly accommodating and a lovely example of Southern hospitality. We'll definitely return on our next Savannah trip.

Room 303 had such a comfortable bed, which mattered to me since I'd had back surgery about six months earlier and was worried about it. We got lucky, and we'll be back. The manor is breathtakingly beautiful, and this was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast. The owners were friendly and helpful, including giving us a map and tips on what to do and how to get there. Savannah is a beautiful town with amazing history. Thank you, Godley family.

The towels felt soft and high quality, but they didn't absorb water well. Breakfast was all cold food, like cereal and yogurt. I would've liked pancakes or bacon, though I understand it would be hard with a three-hour breakfast window. Even with those two gripes, this was a great romantic weekend spot. It's quiet, the beds were soft, and the sheets were comfortable. Beth was really nice and suggested places to visit. I liked the vintage feel, and it definitely has more of an adults-only vibe.

Beth Godley made us feel right at home and made sure we had what we needed for our Savannah visit. Godley Manor itself feels like stepping back in time as soon as you walk in. Our room, 304, was sumptuous, and the whole home is beautifully decorated with so much attention to detail. We enjoyed the continental breakfast and the location near Forsyth Park and other sights. I also highly recommend dining at 1790. We enjoyed our stay so much.
