My mistake was booking a nonrefundable room, but I think charging for one night, or applying a cancellation penalty, would have been fairer than keeping the full cost of both nights. I had booked through Hotels.com during a drive home from a month in FL, then realized the hotel had no parking. With a car full of belongings, street parking didn't feel safe to me, so I tried to cancel. Hotels.com contacted the property and explained why I wanted to cancel, but the hotel immediately refused to waive the fee. A chain hotel would have been a better choice for me.

Jay Ann, our contact person, worked hard to find a good solution and was very understanding. Kasa Altmayer's management was also helpful and efficient, and we got the money we'd paid refunded without hassle. We'd booked two nights at the Kasa Altmayer Hotel in Savannah, GA, for mid-October. When we arrived, the room looked lovely, clean, spacious, and well furnished, with everything we could have wanted. But unexpected technical problems meant we couldn't use it, so we had to book another hotel at the last minute, which cost twice as much. We're hoping to spend a few more days in Savannah soon and will book at the Kasa Altmayer Hotel again. Thanks for everything!

The virtual check-in was easy and courteous, and I extended my stay because I enjoyed this place so much. My one-bedroom condo was secure, quiet, and private in the middle of downtown. It was clean and stocked with everything except food, and I liked watching the sunset from inside. I'd definitely stay again.

I was unsure about the AI, but the stay turned out pleasant. The location made it easy to get around the historic area, and we left the car in a reasonably priced public garage a block away and walked everywhere. Booking through Booking.com brought a surprise email about the $85 pet fee. Even with that added, the room and pet fee together cost less than I could find at a hotel. Both cleanliness and location were excellent.

The bed was extremely comfortable, and the location was just right. The place was simple and clean, with a full kitchen, complimentary coffee and tea, a QR code for a custom local playlist, and a white noise machine. Bring your own food, spices, and ingredients for the kitchen. The fan was a little loud, so I was glad the machine could cover it. More storage and organization space would help, since there was only one dining table and one bench. Great value for the comfort and location.
