The Bohemian Hotel Savannah Riverfront, Autograph Collection

The river-facing room was beautiful, and after we spent most of the evening at the “Savannah Smiles” piano bar, we came back to find chilled champagne, chocolates, and a sweet birthday card from Inna waiting in our room. Such a lovely surprise. We celebrated my 65th birthday at the Bohemian Hotel on Saturday, Jan 25, 2026 in Savannah GA. We were greeted with a glass of champagne and friendly staff. Inna the Director of Front Desk was EXCEPTIONAL, and everyone went above and beyond to help us. The piano bar was within walking distance. This was my second stay, and both have been amazing. I'd recommend this Hotel over any other along River Street. You won't be disappointed!

Alexis at the front desk was so kind and helpful with our small service dog. The staff were great, the food was excellent, and the views were beautiful. Everything was so convenient. A wonderful stay as always, and it was great meeting you all. Thanks again, Alexis! :)

The hotel looks cool and the location is great, but the staff didn't seem focused on good service. On Friday night the internet was down, and we were told our keys would be left under the door overnight. They weren't. When I went to the lobby Saturday morning, it took seven minutes for anyone to show up, even though people were checking out. The man who helped with our bags used profanity, which felt out of place for this kind of hotel. On Saturday night, a guest leaning against the back wall of the elevator nearly fell when the doors suddenly opened. A staff member was taking the elevator just two floors to the lobby to leave. There was no one at the front desk again when we tried to check out Sunday at 10:45am. Getting our car from the required valet took over 30 minutes. We were excited to try another Marriott Autograph hotel, so the experience was disappointing.

The location was convenient for River Street and Bull Street, and the staff were great. But our river view turned out to be a view of scaffolding because of exterior construction we hadn't been told about when booking. The staff fixed the issue, but it shouldn't have happened. The hotel's position also means the neighboring Hyatt blocks any real view. My husband and I came for a long weekend with friends and were disappointed. The hotel itself wasn't anything special or what I expect from Bohemian standards. Both the lobby and room were overly fragrant, and there weren't any real amenities. There are plenty of other convenient places to stay, so we wouldn't return.
