Renaissance Schaumburg Convention Center Hotel

The internet costs $14.95/$17.95 per day, which is ridiculous when the room is already $240 a night. Parking in the garage is free. We had called the front desk before ordering a $5 Amazon item and were told a delivery was fine, but nobody mentioned the $10 fee per package. We wouldn't have ordered it if we'd known. They said the fee was on the website, but we'd called instead of checking there. Marco waived it for our $5 item. We'd reserved an accessible room, but it wasn't available when we arrived, which is a problem for someone using a power chair. Alec offered a late checkout at no charge to make up for it.

We've stayed here many times and never had any problems. Everything has been clean, and the beds are comfortable. Alberto, the shuttle driver, is always friendly and really helpful.

This was our second stay, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and nicely lit, with pleasant decor. The staff are all very pleasant. Albert is our favorite. When he's working and available, he'll help get your luggage to the room, and he really shines as the shuttle driver. On both trips he's taken us to and from restaurants. He's friendly, knows the area, and is a big plus for staying here. I highly recommend his shuttle, which goes basically anywhere within a three-mile radius of the hotel.

We hold our annual convention here, and I've stayed at least six times. It's a great, large convention hotel. The rooms are spacious and well designed, and the ballrooms are among the best in the industry. The staff make them even better, and the event food is thoughtfully prepared and presented.
