Comfort Inn & Suites Schenectady - Scotia

The room was warm, clean, and nicely arranged. The front desk was good too. Nicolas was quick to help, super kind, answered all our questions, and treated everyone with respect. I really appreciated him. I’d gladly recommend this place to travelers. 🫡🙏👍😊

For a quick night in town, Comfort Inn & Suites was a good value, especially compared with a recent, pricier stay at the Hampton Inn Downtown. It’s a short, easy drive to downtown, and my room was quiet, spotless, modern, and a decent size. The balance of price and amenities felt right, more than basic lodging without the full-service luxury of a higher-end hotel. I had 8 am meetings, so I skipped the free hot breakfast, but the in-room Keurig was handy. There was space to work, the desk chair was comfortable, and the WiFi was fast. I’ll be back.

I was in town because my spouse had early morning surgery at Ellis Hospital, and this was extremely convenient. The whole hotel was very clean, the beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom looked sleek and tidy. The TV was a good size, not one of those little 40-inch ones. Everyone working there who I met was friendly and courteous. There’s also a Dollar General across the lot, handy if you’ve forgotten something. I’d definitely stay again.

The room was great, and the lobby was clean. Everyone was welcoming, and there’s a shopping plaza just a short walk away. Check out J&T for great food. My only issue was that the software for casting a phone or computer to the TV didn’t work.
