Maple Shade Bed & Breakfast

The front porch and lovely setting made it easy to settle in, and the beds were very comfortable. My sister and I were traveling through the Hudson River valley, so we only had one night. We would have stayed longer otherwise, and this was a terrific place to spend time in the Adirondack area. Lindsay was such a sweetheart, warm and friendly, and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is beautifully decorated, and she takes care of the rooms and cooks a great breakfast with all the trimmings. We could use the kitchen for tea or coffee all evening, whenever we liked.

That porch swing and the armchairs are perfect for sitting out among the green rolling hills and taking in the quiet. It’s a beautiful little place just outside Saratoga Springs, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was superb, enough to keep you full and going for the rest of the day. I’d happily recommend it and hope to come back. Thanks for a great stay.

Breakfast was excellent, and it was different each morning. Lindsay was pleasant and knowledgeable, and the rooms were clean and well looked after. We had a very nice time at Maple Shade, which is conveniently close to the Saratoga Battlefield and Lake Saratoga. It was quiet at night, too. One thing to keep in mind: if you’re going to the great restaurants in Saratoga proper, the drive back takes you along some very dark country roads. You’ll be very happy with this B&B.

The fresh baked muffins and fruit at breakfast, the tidy rooms, and the lovely scenery made this feel like a home-away-from-home. We stayed with Lindsay and Kyle twice while visiting Saratoga for the Saratoga Horse Shows, and had a great time both visits. The show grounds are only a 7 minute drive away, which was the cherry on top. Thanks for such a lovely stay. We can’t wait to come back!
