Arcadia Hotel

We ended up at the Arcadia Hotel in Gering, Nebraska after weather kept us from landing in Rapid City, South Dakota. It was a holiday and a stressful situation, but the owners were incredibly kind and flexible. They even worked with the airline and helped arrange rides to local restaurants and back to the airport. The hotel was spacious and clean, and everyone we dealt with was professional and welcoming. The owners were awesome and creative, and I’ll be recommending them to people in South Dakota. Highly recommend if you’re staying around Gering, Nebraska.

The room and lobby were so clean, which was a great surprise since I’ve usually found cheap motels dirty and nasty. My wife and I needed a room for one night when I drove to Scottsbluff at the last minute to see my dad, and the price worked perfectly for us. The furniture was nice, not cheap stuff, and the owners were polite and really nice. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Small rooms, but they’re comfortable and have what a couple needs for a night or two. The owners and staff are always smiling, friendly, and helpful. The price was unbeatable.

Tom welcomed us kindly even though we arrived pretty late, and we got a good night’s rest on our long drive from St. Louis to Yellowstone National Park. The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the shower worked great. It has an old-school look with a cool eclectic feel, plus modern amenities. A wonderful place to stop on a 20-hour drive.
