The elevator was out of service, which could be a challenge for some guests. The on-site restaurant was also closed during my visit, though there were plenty of good dining options nearby. The historic building has been given a fresh, modern look without losing its charm. My suite was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully styled, a lovely place to relax after a long day. It's a stunning property, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a distinctive place to stay in the area.

After dinner, we went up to our suite, the Ford Room. It was beautiful, cozy, and well appointed, with big windows and a nice view. The restaurant felt warm and welcoming as soon as we walked in. We were seated right away and had friendly, attentive service. I ordered the Fish & Chips, and my husband had the Santa Fe Chicken. Both were nicely presented and cooked perfectly. We finished with Salted Carmel Ice Cream, which was a tasty, unusual dessert. We really enjoyed our time at the Powerhouse Social and would recommend it to travelers or locals looking for a little get-a-way.

The Morton room made a great impression. It was spacious, with a comfortable bed, large bathroom, modern decor, and a nice view. Entry by code meant there was no front desk stop, which was convenient. We went downstairs for supper and a drink. We seated ourselves, and there were only two other people at the bar. It took quite a while for someone to bring menus and take our drink order. Service picked up after that, as did the crowd. The food was good, though not outstanding.

We found this nicely decorated suite in an adorable, thriving downtown, at a very reasonable price. It's in a historic building, and we're quite happy with our stay. The entry system took a little figuring out since there was no staff in the lobby, but it worked flawlessly. We're traveling from Badlands national Park to Rocky mountain national Park, and this place was conveniently located between them. One note for management: there's a bad storm today, and a little water is coming in under one of the windows closest to the kitchen in the Marguerite. It's not a major issue for us, but it could damage your nice wood floors.

We started our concert trip with cocktails and appetizers in the restaurant. All four drinks we tried were delicious, and all three appetizers hit the spot. The service was top notch, and we left happy. The Ford Suite was so, so nice, spacious and full of thoughtful details and nods to the building's history. I really liked the locally made soap, and the keyless entry was great. My one suggestion would be better bed pillows. I had tickets to a concert at the Midwest and decided to make a trip of it with a stay at the Powerhouse. All in all, a perfect visit. Can't wait to do it again!
