This place has potential, but it needs someone besides the front desk woman assigned to clean carefully and keep bugs under control. My impression was that she handles everything, because she told me she was the maid and asked me to put up the DND sign if I didn’t need housekeeping. It looks like she tries, but the cleaning misses the details and needs a deeper pass. There were dead bugs under the window and in the room and bathroom corners. The curtains and bedspread were dusty. The bathroom had been wiped down, but under the toilet and the bathtub hadn’t been deep cleaned. An outdated property without amenities isn’t the issue for me. It’s the upkeep and lack of thorough cleaning. I attached photos of the dead bugs under the windows and in the bathroom corner.

Our bed was very comfortable, and the hotel is an easy walk from food and the shopping mall. When a light went out, the woman at the front desk came right over and changed the bulb. Great service.

The woman at reception was very nice and friendly, but we still couldn’t imagine spending a night in that room. We grabbed our things and booked somewhere else after spotting short shaving hairs on the bathroom sink. The room smelled like used laundry, as if someone had slept there for weeks, and I’ve never seen one so dirty. The sheets were yellow and stained, covered in hair, with crumbs among them. The windows were dirty, and there was a bug trap on the sill. It definitely hadn’t been cleaned. Absolutely horrific and completely unacceptable. The hallway smelled very fresh, but the room was another story.
