I booked a room a day ahead while traveling for work, but as soon as I spotted a live bed bug on the mattress, I was out. I hadn’t brought anything in yet because I always check first. I pulled back the sheet at the mattress edge, saw the little pale, dirty off-white eggs, and then the bug right along the side. I’ve dealt with a bed bug nightmare at home before, and it took about six months and roughly $6,000 to get rid of them. That didn’t include new mattresses, pulling up carpet, putting in new hard flooring, or all the labor and time I spent. Look into bed bugs before staying somewhere, and check before bringing your things into the room. You do not want them in your home.

I was comfortable and happy throughout my four days at the Motel 6, and Rob Harenbrook at the front desk went above and beyond to take care of guests. I’d recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay in Scottsboro. I never met the other desk clerk, Ashley, but whenever I called with a question, she was kind and helpful.

I’ve had to move into the motel 6, and some of the people here are wonderful. But if you stay any length of time, they stop giving you towels, toilet paper, and pretty much everything they gave you at first. The worst part is they tell people your business, mostly with made-up lies. Someone came up to my husband and said, “You and your mom don’t like to pay rent.” My rent is paid every time. Thank you!!!!

We spent a night at Motel 6. The rooms were average, but not bad. Rob, the Mgr, was very accommodating and helped us find somewhere to charge our boat batteries.

My husband and I love this Motel in Scottsboro, Alabama. The prices and rooms are great, and the workers are kind. Rob at the front desk gave us amazingly awesome guest service. He was courteous, welcoming, and funny, and went above and beyond to help us get the room we hoped for. He tries so hard to do everything for his guests.
