We thought we were signing a two-bedroom lease, but the lease we were given was for a studio. We didn't read it closely enough before signing, so some of that was on us. Still, arriving to find a studio was a rough start. We tried to stay positive, but since then we've dealt with far too many cockroaches and several maintenance problems. The place looked like it had been renovated cheaply and quickly, which really lowered the apartment's quality. We pay $1500. For. A. Studio. We've also had trouble paying rent through the complex's resident portal. After more than three card payment attempts, it won't let you pay and says to “try again in 24 hours,” while you get charged more for each day you can't pay. This is the worst apartment complex and management we've dealt with. If you're trying to build wealth and support yourself responsibly, steer very clear.
