Breakfast was a treat, especially the waffles and mini omelettes. They also had coffee, milk, almond milk, and juice. Michelle was a huge help, made sure we were well accommodated, and was fun and informative to chat with. I wanted to give her a mention. I was here for a weekend work trip. The hotel was clean and nice, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the view of the area was wonderful.

We liked the hotel itself, and the staff were nice. It looked clean, too. But the lack of adult supervision for groups of boys running around the property was completely out of hand and unprofessional. We stayed for a few days over Thanksgiving to visit family. There seemed to be two or three youth soccer teams staying there, with boys perhaps 10 to 15 years old. On our first night, after we checked in, at least ten boys had made makeshift goals at both ends of the second-floor hall right outside our door. They ran back and forth nonstop for about 45 minutes. I could still hear the thudding clearly while downstairs at the desk. Staff said they’d talk to them. A few minutes after I returned to our room, the boys cleared out, but only to move their hallway game to the third floor. There also seemed to be a room directly above us, where we heard loud thuds and what sounded like wrestling and cheering. I went to the desk again and asked if we could move from the second to the fourth floor so they’d at least be below us. After moving around 9 p.m., we heard screaming and cheering outside. About 20 to 30 boys and some adults were in the parking lot, apparently continuing their soccer match there. It went on until well after 10. The following nights were better, though I still occasionally saw groups of five to eight boys running through the halls and stairs without adults. They treated the whole hotel like their own playground.

The morning front desk woman was friendly and greeted us as we checked out, and breakfast was good. Our first impression was much worse. We arrived around 7 p.m., and the evening clerk didn’t greet us or smile, or say thank you or wish us an enjoyable stay. Her manner set a poor tone. The king room was old, the bathtub was dirty, and the hotel needs renovation.

We’re not accusing anyone of anything. I’m just describing what happened with my wife’s rings. We stayed one night after coming from Gilbert. Once home, we realized we’d left them on the desk. I remember seeing them there before bed. We called right away. The person my wife spoke to seemed nice and put her on hold to check the room. She came back saying she’d looked everywhere and found nothing. My wife was panicking, so she called again and asked them to check the floor and trash can in case the rings had fallen off the desk. The person sounded a little annoyed but looked again and still found nothing. We checked our luggage once more, then decided to go back and file a police report for insurance. We called to say we were on our way. Literally five minutes later, they called back to say the manager had found the rings between the nightstand and bed. That seemed odd, since I remembered them on the desk and my wife never puts them on the nightstand. When we arrived, I asked the manager, or who we assumed was the manager, where they’d been found. He said they were wrapped in a towel in the bathroom. That was a different location from what we’d been told, and not somewhere my wife would put them. It all felt suspicious and convenient, with the rings supposedly found in two different places just five minutes after we said we’d file a report. Use this information as you wish.
