Rodeway Inn Old Town Scottsdale

The bed was huge and really comfortable, and the wifi worked great for both me and my partner. The room had high ceilings, air conditioning, a 65 inch TV, a separate bathroom with a shower and bath, plus a fridge, microwave, and hair dryer. I liked this motel’s Phoenix location too, with useful places nearby like restaurants, Walmart, Verizon, an adult store, and a gas station. My only issue was the bedding: there was no comforter or blanket, just two thin white sheets.

We were told check-in would cost 86 dollars, then charged 220. The front desk guy also gave a stranger a key to our room. I recognized the man from the night before, when he kept watching me. This experience left me traumatized. I’ve called more than 8 times and nobody has answered. We need our money back.

On March 7th 2026, we stayed for the night and were charged $220 for a room listed at 84.00. There weren’t clean sheets or towels, and the room smelled. Someone walked into the room and got scared when I came in. The person at the front desk overcharged us, was highly disrespectful, and kept checking out. He has a unibrow. He didn’t offer any kind of refund. I’ll never sleep here again.

The pictures on the website are absolutely inaccurate. The rooms are barely decent: the restroom door wouldn’t open or close all the way, the floor is super slippery, and everything is rusty. There were cigarette burns in the sheets and curtains, the fridge was dirty, and the electrical plugs don’t work. Don’t walk around barefoot.
