Talking Stick Resort

This is our usual Scottsdale spot because everything we need is either at the resort or nearby. Service is always great, and there are plenty of food and snack choices plus a pretty stacked gift shop. The spa is amazing, with lots of services to choose from. There are two golf courses, and we live playing both. Best of all, there's a fun casino and a sport book. Thanks for always hosting us and taking good care of us.

The rooms were big enough for the two of us to spread out comfortably, and the resort was very clean and well maintained. I enjoyed my stay. The sunrise pool stays open 24 hours, while the sunset pool closes at 10 p.m. That was handy after a full day traveling to the canyons, since the pools were beautiful and we wanted to enjoy them before leaving. The infinity pools cost extra. Ocean Trail creole food was delicious, especially the biscuits. The steak house looked good, but the menu was subpar, so don't bother. I don't gamble, though the casino was active at every hour. I missed out on a massage, unfortunately. I paid a $75 resort fee through Expedia, then got charged another $89 resort fee on arrival. That didn't sit right with me, and I'd like someone to explain it.

My sister and I had a great time at Talking Stick Resort and would definitely visit again. Our room was nice and clean when we arrived, and housekeeping kept it tidy throughout our stay. It's a big resort, and a room or suite on the west end gives you a nice view of Camelback mountain, an extremely popular mountain with awesome city views. Shopping is nearby, and attractions were less than a 30 min drive away. There are 7 restaurants, pools, private pools, hot tubs, a casino, and more. I only tried 2 restaurants, and the food disappointed me a little, though it wasn't anything to write home about. The people were friendly, and customer service was exceptional. Loved it!

Staff across the property were welcoming and professional, which made a real difference. The casino had a lively atmosphere without feeling overwhelming, with a good mix of slots and table games. Food and drinks were top-tier, with choices for a quick bite or a full meal. Between the pool, spa, and entertainment, there's plenty to do. Whether you're there to gamble, relax, or have a high-end getaway, it delivers every time. Absolutely phenomenal experience, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommend!
