The Scott Resort & Spa

I went for a conference rather than an overnight stay, and loved the space. There are tons of places to sit, relax, or have a drink, and the plants look so healthy and happy. Every room is thoughtfully designed, with one space flowing into the next. The food and drinks are pricey, but delicious and generous portions. The staff were probably the best part. Even though I wasn't staying there, everyone was friendly and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I'll absolutely stay here next time I'm in Scottsdale.

The staff were terrific, every employee helpful and friendly. The water pressure in the bathroom was amazing, best shower I've had in a long time! My only real downside was that the bed and pillows were too soft for me. I slept well, but had some trouble falling asleep at night. I was fortunate to be here for a conference this past weekend. The Scott was beautiful and well appointed. It was too cold to use the pool or hot tub, but both areas looked lovely and well maintained. The rooms were nicely decorated and well appointed too.

We ended up at the wrong resort by accident, so my friend and I decided to have lunch there. The decor was exceptional. We ate outside, and although service was a little slow, the food was awesome. The portions were big and everything tasted really fresh. I'd recommend the Cobb salad and the pomegranate/squash salad.

The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped, with peaceful spots for eating, drinking, reading, swimming, or just relaxing. There's a complementary shuttle to the historic area near Old Scottsdale, where you can easily walk to sights and restaurants. A short drive by Uber, Lyft, or rental car gets you to the Musical Instruments Museum, Botanical Gardens, Frank Lloyd Wright area, and butterfly museum.
