We first planned to pick up drinks at Waterhouse Provisions, but found a bar, an outdoor patio, and live music, so we stayed awhile. It’s a charming little shop with plenty of seltzers, wine, and beer to choose from. The staff were welcoming, and the atmosphere was pleasant.

The provisions at Waterhouse are 10/10, and the place looks beautiful inside and out. I always stop in for Good Clean Wine when I’m nearby. Elle is such a joy to be around, and it’s always a pleasure seeing her and her husband.

On a later 30A trip for a bachelorette party, we had no vehicle, so I asked whether they could bring a case of assorted wine to our rental a couple of towns away. They graciously delivered it. We’d first visited 30A before the shop opened, and I was so excited to rent nearby the following spring in 2022 once it was finally open. We ended up stopping in every day for wine, of course, along with things like towels, sunscreen, hats, popsicles, chips, and cozies. They have a great range of wines, mixed drinks, and local beers, plus quick grab-and-go snacks for the kids. It’s close to the beach and in a great spot. The couple who own it are true gems. Can’t wait to visit again this year!

A locally owned shop I’d definitely recommend. The wine selection is thoughtfully put together, with bottles to try when you’re in the mood for something new or to share with friends. There are also drinks, treats, and snacks for everyone, just right before or after the beach.
