The Town of Prominence on 30A - Two Bedroom Townhome

Our place flooded, and the company still didn’t send anyone to make sure the mess was cleaned up before we checked out the next day. They clearly don’t care about customer service. It made for a horrible vacation, and I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Definitely go elsewhere.

The area is beautiful, and The Big Chill had great food and entertainment all week. We stayed in 8A “Lucky Beach,” right across from The Big Chill and the pool. It was a short golf cart ride to public beach parking at Deer Lake State Park. My one wish for Spring Break is that both pools were heated seasonally. The heated pool was packed at all hours, and it was hard to find a chair.

It’s a nice spot for a family, with a couple of pools in the complex. You’re right by the Big Chill and some decent shops. To get to more neighborhoods and shops, you’ll need bikes and a golf cart.

Prominence on 30A has too many rules, and people kept following us around telling us what we could and couldn’t do. The restaurants at the big chill were expensive, the food and atmosphere were crappy, and everything was dirty. We had no Verizon service anywhere on campus, and there was no Wi-Fi in our house. We couldn’t communicate with anyone or even look up a restaurant. Thank God we didn’t need to call 911. The pool deck is brown brick pavers that get scorching hot and burn your feet. There’s an elevator in the three story house, but guests aren’t allowed to use it, which is rough when you’ve just had knee surgery. All of this feels like the result of an inexperienced or very cheap Developer. There are too many wonderful options at 30A to choose this place. This is my first negative review ever on Google. Hope it helps somebody.
