We were in town for a funeral, and my family wasn't up for a fight or added complications. Otherwise, I would have canceled as soon as I walked into the humid, ugly building. For anyone considering it, I'd strongly suggest staying elsewhere. It didn't feel ready for travelers, and the regular price wasn't worth giving up cleanliness, quality, and decent service. The renovations are badly needed, but what we paid to stay amid the work was absurd. The place was gutted and chaotic, looking tacky at best and like a dystopian wasteland at worst. The woman who checked us in offered no apology or explanation about the building. She seemed like she didn't want to be there either. Housekeeping was an even bigger concern. There were only two towels for three people and half a roll of toilet paper. A hand towel under the sink looked used and refolded, and there was another used cloth farther under there. There was white powder in the desk drawer, and the cream and sugar wrapper by the coffee station was plainly open. We had two mini fridges and two microwaves, but only one of each worked, and the working ones weren't the ones stacked together. That part was more funny than irritating, but still, do better. Get staff who care about guests, and don't charge normal rates for dirty, substandard rooms during renovations.

They're changing the name to Sleep Inn and Suites and redoing the entire place, including the rooms and breakfast area. I thought everything about it was fantastic and would highly recommend it.

The staff went out of their way to make us comfortable, even bringing us breakfast when we arrived because the breakfast room was going to be under construction the next morning. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The hotel was under construction as of May 1st, 2025, but it barely affected our lovely stay. Highly recommend.

The staff were extremely helpful and nice. The hotel itself is very nice and updated.

The staff made our short stay a pleasure. We checked in at 9pm 3/28 and left at 8:30am 3/29, and I was sorry we couldn't stay another night. Our newer suite was lovely and quiet, even with renovations going on. It looked and felt like a 5 ⭐ hotel to me. There's an elevator for the two floors, plus ice machines, vending machines, a breakfast area, and an indoor pool. From what I could see, there was also a conference room and a gym. The staff were so friendly to me and my family.
