The only thing in its favor was the prime location, about two minutes from the boardwalk. We rented a three bedroom house owned by the Dry Dock Motel, and the photos looked much better than the place itself. It was dirty and disgusting. The bedding looked decades old, and there were ants throughout the kitchen. The tubs and toilets in both bathrooms were so gross that I wouldn’t shower there. The upstairs bathroom sink stayed clogged the entire time. I wouldn’t recommend it for families with kids, though it might suit a group of young people just looking for a good time. For the nightly price, the rental needs updating. Bring cleaning products and bedding.

I paid $100 for one night and expected a lot better. The room was filthy, with hair and dirt and sand in the shower, makeup on the pillows, and a shower that was gross to use after being out in 90 plus degree heat. It is actually Dry Dock motel, listed under a different name. I asked for new sheets and pillows, but they tried to give me just pillowcases. This was so dirty I wouldn’t recommend it even as a last resort. Bring your own towels, sheets, and cleaning supplies. The A/C was very powerful, at least. I’d paid only $80 for a much nicer, cleaner room in Atlantic City. If I could give it no stars, I would.

Stay away. The houses are overpriced and should be condemned, and I think the owner is a scammer who will keep your security deposit unless you sue. I did sue him.

It’s not the fanciest place, but it was clean, private, and cozy. For a young couple looking for a cheap weekend spot to party, it worked fine. We got lots of towels, soap, and shampoo, plus a clean fridge and stove, free parking across the street, and a really powerful A/C. The beach and boardwalk are only two minutes away. I wouldn’t bring kids here for a holiday, though. Your family may not feel comfortable, and you might want to avoid the area.
