Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Seaside - Convention Center

The location made it easy to get around on foot, with the beach, aquarium, carousel mall, and plenty of restaurants all within about five minutes. Our room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and I liked the Dove soaps in the shower. The pool, hot tub, sauna, and fitness room were all open 24 hours, with pool access after 10 reserved for guests 18 and up. That was a great setup. The staff were kind, helpful, and funny, and breakfast had loads to choose from, even if it wasn't anything spectacular. We'd happily come back.

We'd stayed at plenty of Holiday Inn Express hotels around Oregon, but this was the first where our room wasn't ready. We were told the whole hotel was being cleaned that day. It seemed like poor planning not to have enough rooms ready for the reservations they had. The front desk staff came across as unhelpful and acted as if they were doing us a favor. We were very disappointed with their demeanor.

The beds were comfy, breakfast was delicious, and the coffee is always fresh. They have a new machine now. Most of the staff are great too. 10 out of 10, best place around.

We booked a few rooms for our big group, and the hotel did a nice job accommodating all our families. The staff were great, and the rooms were very clean. The kids especially enjoyed the breakfast, including the pancake machine, and the pool. The one drawback was the uncomfortable hide-a-bed.
