The staff make our work meetings at Cedarbrook Lodge feel welcoming from the moment we arrive. They’re friendly and helpful, and that really adds to an experience that’s been great every time. The lodge is beautiful and quiet, a lovely setting to bring the team together and get some work done. Meeting rooms are comfortable for long sessions, and they’re well equipped. Planning feels smooth and organized. The food is another plus, with a breakfast buffet full of good choices and fresh tasting items, and a really nice lunch. We’ll keep coming back, and I’d recommend it for a team retreat or work event.

The food was a standout during my six days at Cedarbrook Lodge. I have difficult dietary needs due to IBS and sensitivities to garlic and onion, and eating out is usually stressful. The chef at the lodge’s Copperleaf restaurant made sure there was something I could eat at every conference meal, and kept it the same as what everyone else had when possible. It’s been a long time since I haven’t felt anxious about eating out. The lodge is also well placed, next to the airport and light rail, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. My double queen room had room to lounge and work, with a mini fridge, coffee machine, and a large soaking tub with bath salts I may or may not have used every night. Most floors had a shared lounge with a TV, snacks, water machine, and a big fridge stocked with ice cream. There’s a spacious gym and a hot tub open 6 am to 11 pm. Getting there was easy, too: the 24/7 shuttle arrived within 10 minutes of my call at the pickup islands across from baggage claim. The instructions were clear and the shuttle was easy to recognize. Even though I arrived early, they let me check in. Staff also explained they could hold luggage if an early check in wasn’t possible, and gave me clear directions and a map of the spacious grounds. I’d happily stay at Cedarbrook Lodge next time I’m in Seattle, hopefully for leisure.

Cedarbrook Lodge was a great choice for our Seattle Seahawks game trip. We wanted to stay away from the big airport hotels, and this was my first visit. The location worked perfectly, with good rooms and facilities, friendly service, plenty of parking, a good restaurant and bar, and breakfast as well. We moved on the next day but have already booked again for August, when we’re next in town. Looking forward to seeing the place in warmer weather instead of cold, dark January. Thanks for a lovely, if brief, stay.

The massage therapist was so good, and the spa itself felt clean, cozy, and inviting. The locker room was clean and had what I needed, though it’s small and has just one shower, so keep that in mind if you’re going with friends or a group. The main issue is the layout. The Relaxation area has no doors and sits close to the front desk, so you hear guests checking in and moving between the desk and locker rooms. It’s hard to really relax with all that noise. The space has a nice ambience, but it needs some separation to feel tranquil. I’d recommend a visit with those things in mind.

The spa was a real highlight of our lovely two week winter stay at Cedarbrook. Sara helped with scheduling and settling my account, Toni gave me a divine body scrub, Eliza’s massage was dreamy, and Kim (?) made the mani/pedi a delight. Reception was wonderful too. Gabriella, Mae, and TJ handled every detail and request so graciously. The lodge sits in a beautiful wetland sanctuary, a comfortable little cocoon. Our room was well appointed, and we loved the shared living rooms with fireplaces and treats. Meeting Maddie, the charming house cat, was a treat, and the gardens and paths were lovely and easy to get around. Parking is on site, room access is easy, and security is good throughout. We also enjoyed the restaurant and bar, where Tina, Ashleigh, and Sara were especially kind and helpful, with friendly, unobtrusive service. Don’t miss the fancy grilled cheese or sweet potato soup, both were delicious. We highly recommend Cedarbrook and look forward to returning.
