Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Airport

The shuttle made departure day easy: I could text the hotel from the airport to request pickup, then sign up for a ride the next morning. Check-in through the Hilton Honors app was seamless. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and professional, and there are plenty of outlets and work-friendly spots around the property. There also seems to be meeting space for groups. The lobby market is well stocked with snacks and sundries, handy for late arrivals or early departures. There’s a pool and a large fitness center, too. My room was spacious, spotless, and quiet despite being near the airport. The bed was super comfortable, the bathroom was great, and the lighted mirror was bright and useful for getting ready for an early flight. The hotel feels new, with a modern and comfortable feel throughout. I’d happily stay here again when flying in or out of SEA, and recommend it for before or after travel.

The hotel made it easy for our large group to get through a soccer tournament weekend without things feeling hectic. Staff were friendly, professional, and accommodating, and both players and parents felt welcome. They gave the girls space to spend time together between games and let parents gather in the evenings. It made the tournament better, and we’d gladly stay again for future events at Hilton Garden Inn Seattle Airport.

Management handled a problem during my stay with real care. The day manager called the next morning, and the General Manager called the day after I checked out, once she was back from a business trip. They apologized for the misunderstanding, and the GM issued a credit to put things right. Her sincerity made it clear that she and the staff care about hospitality. That personal response is why I’d feel comfortable staying here again. The rooms are immaculate and well maintained, with comfortable, practical furniture, though they’re a little dim for my taste. The air circulation and filtration system was impressive. I’d accidentally booked an accessible room, and the two-queen bedroom was enormous, with plenty of room for a wheelchair. The lobby is comfortable, and the hotel is clean and good value. The on-site restaurant was delicious and highly recommended. The elevators smelled somewhat like bug spray, and the location isn’t great for walking to anything or finding shops outside the property. The surrounding area isn’t the nicest. On a previous stay, I saw a car waiting in the dark alley to the parking garage, apparently hoping someone would let it in with their room key. I used the buzzer kiosk to call the front desk and report it. The car saw what I was doing and drove off. I don’t know whether anyone has ever gotten in and burglarized the secured underground parking, but that night it seemed someone might be trying. Parking is expensive, about $28 per night after taxes.

MAY at the front desk made a rough night much easier for our family. Airline problems left us stranded at the airport at 3 a.m., and we ended up at the Hilton nearby. Traveling with kids in the middle of the night while exhausted and frustrated wasn’t easy, but she was kind, patient, and accommodating. She made us feel welcome right away and helped us get settled quickly. We’re extremely grateful for her help and the hospitality. Customer service like that feels rare.
