My boyfriend and I stayed from 1/15/26-1/18/26. The bedroom and shower were nice, and there was a Roku TV, but the listing photos gave the wrong impression. They made it look like we’d have our own kitchen and living room, when those spaces are actually shared with other guests. Even other guests seemed confused. This is a hostel, not a hotel. There’s no elevator, so we had to carry our luggage up and down three flights of stairs, and deal with the stairs in general.
The rooms were very clean, the furnishings looked new, and the bed was comfortable. There’s no living room, but that didn’t matter much to us as tourists. It’s near the space needle and seems like a good spot for a family visiting town. The soundproofing is rough: we could hear every word from upstairs and even hear people fart. I’m also pretty sure the water heater wasn’t installed up to code, since there was no drain pan or drain for an emergency overflow.
Even though we were only in Seattle overnight, the central location, views, and overall feel of being so close to the city made the visit really fulfilling. The property owner was incredibly hospitable and helpful to me and my partner.
Calling this place a hotel is misleading. It felt like a standard AirBnB, tucked behind several other buildings and extremely hard to find. As a woman traveling alone, I found it outrageous that they call it a hotel when there’s no security and nobody on site. It’s a three-floor walk-up, which wasn’t disclosed. Check-in is through an app that asks you to upload your driver's license, a selfie, and a picture of your credit card. I offered to pay for one night if they’d cancel the rest of my booking, but they refused. It felt scammy, like almost all Airbnbs do. Buyer beware. IT'S NOT A HOTEL.
There was no staff on site, so any access or safety problem would have been mine to deal with. The staff were also extremely unhelpful and unwilling to accommodate us. I had a standard room with a queen-size bed, but the mattress had no firmness at all and gave me back pain. The credit card verification was a major hassle and didn’t seem in line with normal industry practice. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
