Executive Hotel Pacific

The adjoining coffee shop is fabulous, a step above even for a city known for coffee. Its pastries and breakfast sandwiches are among the best in Seattle. The hotel is also across from the most fantastic library you’ll ever see, in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Staff are very nice. Once, a kind man at the desk let me check in early. Another time I couldn’t, but they stored my bags while I explored the International district. It’s close to the symphony metro stop and easy to reach lots of places. I used to stay here for work, and still come for football games after retiring. I’ve been staying here for over 25 years, and although ownership has changed a couple of times, the new owners seem to be trying to improve things. The rooms are older and a bit small, so it’s not the place for anyone expecting a five-star hotel, but they suit me perfectly. I’ll be there this coming Sunday.

The only letdown was the thin mattress on the pullout, so I’d put it at 4.5 stars. The regular bed was amazingly comfortable, and the pillows helped with two injuries I’m still nursing, one in my shoulder and one in my neck. Our room had plenty of space, tall ceilings, a living room, and two bathrooms. The location is perfect for being close to nightlife, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the prices are amazing for the area. We’ll stay again.

The staff were so kind and cheerful, and Riley went especially far out of the way to help me with something unrelated to the hotel. We stayed at the Executive Hotel Sunday night for the Hawks game. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the parking package worked out great. The downtown price was really good. We have plenty of good things to say about the visit and will definitely come back for more games.

Israel was a real standout, helping me in Spanish with great kindness, patience, and professionalism. He answered my questions, shared recommendations for the city, and was always ready to assist with a smile. The facilities were well maintained and the location was perfect, but the service was what impressed me most. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. I’d definitely stay here again.
