There was so much to try and browse on our first day that we barely made a dent. We loved the food, art, goods, and all the unique gifts and things to discover. Weekends get very busy; weekdays were busy too, just not quite as packed. The whole market has such a distinctive feel, and we loved the experience.

We always make Pike Place Market one of our Seattle stops, and it was a highlight again when we were in town for a cruise. We couldn't take any flowers aboard, but the colorful bouquets at the flower stalls were still a favorite part of the visit. Watching the fishmongers toss fish across the counter is another thing we never miss, and it adds so much fun to the atmosphere. There's plenty to wander through, from bakeries, seafood, and produce stands to local vendors, food stalls, and unusual shops. We also enjoy just walking around and taking in the open-air setting and all the activity. Whether you're here for a few hours before a cruise or have several days in Seattle, it's worth making time for the market. We come back every time we're in the city.

The whole place has such a fun vibe, and it was a great outing for my family, whatever the age. We wandered around the huge market and found fruit, vegetables, flowers, meat, cheese, bagels, coffee, and plenty more. There are also all kinds of unusual little souvenirs and trinkets that would make nice gifts.

We spent time wandering between stalls, looking at local products, and trying food. As vegetarians, we found good options, including delicious falafel at a Greek delicatessen inside the market. Give yourself 2-3 hours to explore and enjoy the lively surroundings. Pike Place Market is a clean, well-kept piece of Seattle's history, with local vendors, specialty shops, restaurants, flowers, and fresh produce. The Public Market Center sign is a great photo spot and captures the city's spirit. There's a welcoming, vibrant atmosphere and a lot to see, making this an iconic Seattle attraction that tourists should visit.
