Puget Vista Apartments

Our bike was stolen from inside the property even though it was locked, and management barely responded. Security feels very poor, with random people in the building all the time. We moved into this apartment on Jan 17 and had a really bad move-in experience. Units are constantly being renovated, and property management hasn’t kept its commitments or responded to us. You can find somewhere better for this price. I strongly discourage living here.

The elevator doesn’t work, trash bags sit in the corridors, and the parking area has no access into the building. Mail also doesn’t get delivered because of access problems. Much of the building is used for hotel rooms and Airbnb, something management wasn’t transparent about when we moved in. It’s been two months since we arrived, and our move-in problems still haven’t been resolved. The property manager and management team at Puget Vista apartments have been awful. They’re hard to reach, unavailable even in emergencies, and don’t keep their word. I wouldn’t recommend moving here if you want a place to call home. I wish I could give zero stars, or a negative rating.

I had many enjoyable stays here while in town for executive training at my former company’s US head office. It’s an Apartel, so it isn’t intended as a permanent home, and the service isn’t there to coddle you. I found the straightforward, more European style refreshing. Everything is spelled out clearly. Read the descriptions, email instructions, and in-suite instructions, and you’ll know what to do. I don’t understand the negative reviews.

We’ve been tenants for over a year. My husband and I were happy when we first rented here, but we’ve just renewed our lease and now wish we hadn’t. New managment took over during our time here, and if we’d known the process would turn into such a debacle, we would’ve moved as quickly as we could. Look at reviews for the Stratford Company, which these and many other apartment complexes fall under, and you’ll see what I mean. Everyone on the staff except the current onsite manager is rude and seems to care very little about keeping their “customers” happy. There are plenty of other places to rent. I only wish we could still move. I’m happy to give examples of how badly they treat customers, so feel free to respond and I’ll explain why you should take your tenancy and money elsewhere.
