Seattle Vacation Home: The Tuscan Villa

The balcony view is gorgeous, but the condition of the house was awful. We stayed three nights, paid close to 2500-3000 because it sleeps 12+ people, and one family couldn’t handle the smell or the unsanitary conditions, so they moved to a hotel. The place needs a major overhaul. The smell inside was unbearable, and the carpets, bathrooms, fixtures, walls, and pretty much everything else were outdated, broken, not very clean, or below a standard we wanted to use. There was hair on the bedsheets, the bunk beds squeaked badly, and the window blinds wouldn’t open or close. After I showered, the floor was somehow wet, so I had to dry it with a towel. It might work as a good deal for a student gathering, but I’d tell families to avoid it.

I live nearby, and from what I see this place isn’t kept up well. Garbage often overflows onto the street for days or even weeks, attracting rats.
