Neida was FANTASTIC, always warm and welcoming whenever I saw her. She also pointed me to my new favorite bookstore/coffee shop in Seattle, so ask her about it! Everyone on staff was amazing, and the rooms were really comfortable. Highly recommend.

When an unexpected building issue meant my mom had to change rooms, Rizza at the front desk was so communicative and compassionate. I was home dealing with a bathroom renovation to better suit my mom’s needs, and couldn’t be there in person. She helped my 77-year-old mother move safely and comfortably. As a worried son, I was deeply grateful for Rizza’s kindness and professionalism throughout. Her care was outstanding, and I hope management and corporate recognize the excellent work she does. Thank you, Rizza, for a five-star experience.

The hotel is convenient for Cap Hill, the hospitals, and downtown, with a streetcar out front that takes you a couple of blocks from Amtrack. The room was comfortable and well maintained, with pleasing contemporary decor, good heating and cooling, easy controls, and a quiet fan. It’s roomy enough for one or two. The bathroom is nicely appointed, though the toilet crowds the shower entrance a bit. Service was excellent. There’s an attached restaurant instead of a breakfast buffet, which felt like a slight upgrade. A convenient, comfortable, well-run casual hotel.

I stayed here for about a month and a half after having a liver transplant at Swedish. They were very accommodating, including bringing me an extra fridge in under 30 minutes. I had to switch rooms once, and it went okay, even with all the stuff I needed to move. A very good place to stay.

I’ve always liked this hotel and have stayed here on Seattle visits since my first trip about 20 years ago. It had been over 10 years since my last time in Seattle proper, and I was a little wary after staying at the Mukilteo location a few months earlier. This stay was much better than that one, and the hotel seems well maintained. I’d say it’s improved since my previous visit. The location is very central, near good bus routes, Link, and the streetcar. Seattle itself impressed me this time too. I could happily spend a week riding public transit around without doing anything else. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable, fairly quiet, and dark enough to sleep well. The shower was great. The hair dryer needs replacing, and one window wouldn’t close properly, though the glass wasn’t broken. At checkout, I mentioned the window to the staff member. She seemed unsure why I was telling her, and when I said I thought she might want to know, she just nodded dismissively and said okay. Strange, but it didn’t ruin the stay. We’ll be moving close enough to Seattle that I don’t expect to stay here again, but I’d recommend it to anyone who does.
