We liked the location and walked almost everywhere, and we barely heard the neighbors. The apartment itself was nice, though plain, with just one piece of art and otherwise blank walls. There were five of us for six nights and exactly five towels, so we ended up doing laundry every day to have enough for showers. The pool was okay, but it wasn’t in the building as advertised. We had to walk around the block, and it was cold some days. The outdoor hot tub often had leaves in it, and there were no towels at the pool. Inside, it was hot with no air conditioning and just one small box fan for the whole two-bedroom apartment. Some nights were cooler, but there was only one extra blanket, so we were either too hot or too cold. The kitchen was sparsely equipped: no oven mitt or pizza pan, and not enough dish soap or dishwasher soap. There were plenty of glasses, at least. We also ran out of toilet paper and had to buy supplies on top of an expensive week. With the windows open it was loud, though that was expected. I’m not sure I’d recommend it unless you don’t plan to use the kitchen.

The building has amazing views, a great location, and lots of space. We had a three-bedroom apartment with a great little balcony. I was skeptical because the price was much lower than other hotels nearby, but the extra bedrooms seemed worth the gamble. You do get what you pay for in some details. Parking wasn’t included, and an attended garage spot cost me another $50. The apartment had been updated, but little things were missed. The dated blinds were broken and missing important pieces. The beds were nice, but the bedding was terrible. The pillows were so bad that if I’d stayed more than one night, I would’ve bought one for myself. The blankets weren’t good either. It’s a great place for the price, but I’m not sure I’d come back because of the bedding. If I did, I’d bring my own.

The apartment itself was really nice, and Stay Alfred staff were helpful on the phone. Before we arrived, they gave us laundromat locations, which was useful. But when we called to ask whether our unit had a washer and dryer, we were told it didn’t. It actually did, and knowing that ahead of time would’ve let me pack fewer clothes and a lighter bag. Parking information was confusing too. The instructions mentioned a garage about 3 blocks away, which would’ve been a pain in the rain with a baby. Street parking turned out to be normal in Seattle and relatively easy to find much closer to our building. We also couldn’t find the pool that was supposedly in the building. The photos should be more accurate. The ones we saw showed a fireplace, but our unit didn’t have one. The RiteAid across the street was a God-send and really convenient.

We paid $285 with tax and fees for a night away, and it felt like a waste. The pictures didn’t match the unit, and the headboard was badly broken. The toilet stopped working mid-morning, then started again just as we were checking out. We also couldn’t watch movies on the TV. When we called, the clerk didn’t have the code and said she’d call back once she found it. She never did. We were VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. We’d just wanted a relaxing weekend.

The location is nice, but Apartment 2604 at the Wall Street location was extremely dirty. The furnishings, including the dining table chairs, were all very dirty and need replacing. There also wasn’t enough soap and shampoo for six people.
