Staypineapple, Watertown Hotel, University District Seattle

Jason and Stephanie at the Staypineapple Watertown Hotel made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived, and check-in was easy. They were warm, professional, and genuinely kind. Whenever we needed something, they were responsive, helpful, and keen to make our stay comfortable. Their positive attitude, hard work, and care for guests made a real difference to our experience. They're a credit to the hotel and deserve recognition.

For safety and convenience, this hotel worked well, especially for the university district. The front desk was friendly and accommodating, and the room was huge and squeaky clean. But it felt awkward and cold, with a tiny TV. The fan was loud and wouldn't respond to the manual temperature controls. The room stayed boiling, and the fan kept clicking on and off. I didn't sleep very well.

We felt safe with secured parking and elevator access, and every employee we dealt with by phone, at the desk, or in the cafe was so nice. We asked by text for a particular room location and they were able to honor it. The room was quiet and one of the cleanest we've stayed in. There were thoughtful touches too, like lots of charging outlets, mini creamers in the fridge, and pineapple cookies. We booked two nights to visit University of Washington because of the location, rate, affordable parking, and reviews. The room was a little small and the furniture a bit worn. The blackout shades had gaps, the water pressure was low, and the pillows were flat. Still, it's a solid no-frills place with cute pineapple branding and decor, and just enough comfort for a quick trip.

The staff were helpful with directions to local spots, and the location and price were both great. It's a three-star hotel with five-star cleanliness, service, and quality. The beds were amazing, more comfortable than any I've had, even at home. That's not something I usually say about a hotel.
