That upstairs great room made our visit, it was a lovely spot to have coffee and bagels and spend time with Mary and other guests. My friend and I stayed at the Sea Parrot for the Seldovia music festival, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Mary was so friendly and knew a lot. I’d happily recommend it.

The cozy room was right across from the ferry exit, which was great, and the ice cream and breakfast included with our stay tasted delicious. The rest of our time in Seldovia was disappointing, though. There wasn’t much open, and the businesses didn’t seem ready for the number of tourists getting off the boat. I felt like an inconvenience instead of a welcome guest. 😢

Perry's Cafe kept drawing me back. I hadn't expected much from a place known mainly as an ice cream shop, but the food was outstanding. My favorite was the Roast Beast sandwich, and the parfait or breakfast burrito made a great start to the day. We first stayed at the Sea Parrot Inn over Memorial Day weekend, then came back for Labor Day. Even with construction going on, it felt relaxed and comfortable, and the room was much nicer than I expected. The staff really went out of their way to make us feel at home. It’s one of the nicest B&Bs I’ve visited, and I plan to stay there again next time I’m in Seldovia.

We ducked in out of the rain for coffee and ice cream during a day trip by ferry, and the breve latte was a nice surprise. My husband got to finish off a bucket of ice cream. Everyone was friendly, and their puppy was adorable!

The place was small, with only about three tables, but it felt really welcoming. I enjoyed my visit to Perry's Café. During my winter stay, I had breakfast and lunch there every day. The bagels, donuts, and changing lunch specials were tasty and filling.
