I came to Selma for a work project on Dec 1, 2025, and quickly realized the hotel near Fresno was making my schedule difficult. This place was only about 4-8 minutes from my assignment, so I switched. I ended up staying three months and left early March 2026. For an older hotel, it was very, very clean and quiet. As someone who travels for work, I also found it reassuring to see so many other working people staying there. The staff were attentive and personable. Thank you, Mark, Inderaaj, and Nick, for making me feel welcome and safe. I especially appreciate the housekeeping staff. Their work is often undervalued and goes unacknowledged, but they made my stay in Selma comfortable and enjoyable. I can't thank you enough.

There was plenty of parking, and the hotel has a dog area out back. The place was generally clean, though the freeway nearby made it noisy. During our stay, a group was outside smoking so often that the hallway smelled strongly of cigarettes. I also didn't like having to go to the restaurant next door for the complimentary breakfast. That's not the breakfast setup I've usually had at a hotel.

I was traveling by motorcycle when I broke down and had to cancel on the day I was due to arrive. They still charged me. The Holiday Inn in Manteca didn't charge me when I called just hours before check-in.

The biggest hassle was breakfast. You have to leave the building to get it, which wouldn't be much of an issue without little kids, heavy rain, or strong gusts of wind. Our room also had a connecting door to the next room, and my kids opened it pretty easily. The carpet was dark, too. The hotel is close to the highway, and it was so noisy that it was hard to fall asleep. Very disappointing.

We stayed one night on a Tuesday and got upgraded to a beautiful suite style room. It was very clean, and the service was great.
