The friendly, efficient front desk and great service made for an enjoyable stay, and breakfast was excellent. The courtyard and pool seem like they’d make this a good summer spot. Still, the hotel is showing its age and could use some noticeable renovations. There was rust flaking around the bathroom shampoo dispensers, exposed wires where a smoke detector should have been, and the hallway ice machine was dripping. The wear is understandable for the hotel’s age. Also, NBC wasn’t available, which made Sunday night football harder to watch. Not a major issue, but I was surprised it wasn’t in the basic lineup. We’d return.

The beds were clean and amazing, and we had a great stay. The only thing that kept us from giving it five stars was the complimentary breakfast. The eggs, sausage, and waffles were all cold, and breakfast really wasn’t good.

The room was clean, modern, and in perfect repair, with everything feeling close to new. For the price, it was better than I expected, and even the complimentary breakfast stood out. The bagels were from a real bakery, the fruit salad was freshly cut rather than frozen or canned, and the coffee was top notch. Everything was good.

The kids loved the pool, and we enjoyed our stay. The staff were helpful and the hotel was nice. One thing, the room felt humid. A dehumidifier or a bathroom vent that actually works could help.
